Our Mission
Mosaic Hockey Collective focuses on building an inclusive hockey community that empowers players of color with skills, resources, and positive experiences to grow and give back to the game.
As of December 2022, Mosaic Hockey Collective is a 501(c)(3) organization. We support players from minority backgrounds ranging in age from 6 through 18. Currently, over 100 players from 40 communities in and around theTwin Cities area participate in Mosaic.
Mō-ˈzā-ik Definition
The mix of ethnic groups, languages and cultures that coexist within society. The idea of a cultural mosaic is intended to suggest a form of multiculturalism, different from other systems such as a melting pot often used to describe assimilation.
